Description Writing
fears still dashing through his body.
He could not believe what just happened right in front of him alone with no one around. The smell got stronger his body could not handle this, he became weak. The boy laid down the fire slowly died down but the smell was still strong. The house was gone no longer standing no longer breathing, His whole world was crushed. The boys family was out before him he was all alone, the only thing strong and still standing was the little boy.
His house was black and colourless. He couldn't even remember how it happened, the first thing that came to his mind was what happens now? No food, clothes or a bed to sleep on. The wind was blowing the ashes in a mini tornado the car was rusty its doors were gone including everything he had owned. He left the house, said his goodbyes and off he was walking down the street he stopped at the park where him and his family used to play, a tear ran down his soft face.
He sat on the swing watching the kids play in the park and play tag he remembered that the one thing his mum told him was don't give up. He knew there was nothing more for him so he set on a journey to find a new family.

My volcano description
The
lava was making the water steam up the turning the cloud black. The
smoke was strong, I started to cough everybody was scared they were all
screaming as loud as they can. Thinking that we were all going to get
out, the lava was starting to pour out of the volcano. It started
spitting fire out, suddenly the whole thing blew and the ground started
to shake.
Fire started shooting over to where we were, everyone started running . There were babies crying, people screaming and children sitting on the ground with no parents. I ran as fast as i could, i dropped to the ground the only thing in sight was black mist i lay there for a little while, the only thing i could hear was people screaming and crying. I sat up but it was still too hard to see. There was someone walking towards me i yelled “Who’s there” but nobody answered .
I got up and went for a walk the aftermath was horrible I felt like my whole city was gone. The trees weren't pretty and green they were black and ugly and burnt. As i kept walking the town started getting quieter and quieter i felt alone like no-one was there. I started feeling sick but that didn't stop me from trying to finding other survivors. I could hear a helicopter one was right above my head. I started waving but they could not see me.
They were flying around in circles the mist slowly went away. I waved again then the helicopters slowly came down. This man asked me “Have you seen anyone else” I answered “No sorry” I got into the helicopter we flew around for a little while. I could see people waving their hands and yelled “stop!” The helicopter lowered to the ground and people got in, there was no-one else that we could find so we flew away tears dropped down the peoples faces in the helicopter as we left.

Individual Description
I'm Khylie and I am age 12 i live in panmure . I have brown eyes, black and brown hair and I am the middle child in our family. I am a student at Tamaki Primary School. I like to laugh with my friends. I am really loud and funny. My favourite thing to do in the weekend is go swimming at the beach with my family . I love to hang with my friends outside on the grass under the tree .My best friends are Fili and Lesieli. The things I like about them is that they are nice, funny and also humble.
I love my family because they're funny and they are humble. My brother is 6 foot 4 so that makes him the tallest in our family. There are days when we get angry at each other and days when we all love each other. My mum is a single mum and she works wonders in our house. She is a miracle from the sky. My little brother & sister are the cheeky monkeys in our family. I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters and they’re all cool Tomatoes .
My community is nice and fresh. There are good people, and bad people in this community . It’s filled with beautiful beaches and also pretty trees, everywhere you walk is filled with schools, colleges and kindergartens for kids to learn new things. The best beach around here is Mission bay. Mt Wellington is where people go sightseeing , running, biking or even just to go and hang out on the mountain to have lunch . Some even go to fly their planes .
My cultural background is Maori and Scottish . My favourite sports are basketball and netball because they are fun and are also energising. My favourite hobby is singing ,dancing , annoying people and laughing with my family members, and also making fun each other. I like to laugh with my two sisters and play netball with them. I also like to play basketball with my two older brothers.
I hope that I reach the standard that I need to get to and set my goal for this year. I fear not reaching my standard or failing behind. I hope that I achieve all of my goals which are getting prepared for college or Become a beautiful role model in our school.
