Facts and Opinions

WALT understand the difference between fact and opinion.

Write two informative pieces about your neighbourhood (Panmure, Glen Innes, Point England etc).  In the first box, use opinions to guide your writing.  In the second box, use facts.  The two should both ‘sound formal.’

Opinion Panmure is the best suburb to live in and there are also a lot of good school for children and good people and we also have the best doctors in the world. Panmure has a nice running place for us to run around which is the basin and we also have a nice eating place and good things for kids for after school like youth twon.

Fact Did you know that the panmure basin is a volcano crater and it was also made in 12.00000 bc. Another thing is 99 % of the people that live in panmure are pacific Islanders Did you also know that 80% of the kids that live in panmure all hang out on the street and get into trouble
