Description Writing

As he watched his house burn to the ground a tear dropped down his face. The air turned black the ashes were flying with the wind ,the taste of burnt wood was noticed. The bright orange flames were getting higher . Poor little boy fell to the ground and the only thing in sight was black clouds the smell of burning wood and the taste of ashes, he felt alone

fears still dashing through his body.

He could not believe what just happened right in front of him alone with no one around. The smell got stronger his body could not handle this, he became weak. The boy laid down the fire slowly died down but the smell was still strong. The house was gone no longer standing no longer breathing, His whole world was crushed. The boys family was out before him he was all alone, the only thing strong and still standing was the little boy.

His house was black and colourless. He couldn't even remember how it happened, the first thing that came to his mind was what happens now? No food, clothes or a bed to sleep on. The wind was blowing the ashes in a mini tornado the car was rusty its doors were gone including everything he had owned. He left the house, said his goodbyes and off he was walking down the street he stopped at the park where him and his family used to play, a tear ran down his soft face.

He sat on the swing watching the kids  play in the park and play tag he remembered that the one thing his mum told him was don't give up. He knew there was nothing more for him so he set on a journey to find a new family.

My volcano description

The lava was making the water steam up the turning the cloud black. The smoke was strong, I started to cough everybody was scared they were all screaming as loud as they can. Thinking that we were all going to get out, the lava was starting to pour out of the volcano. It started spitting fire out, suddenly the whole thing blew and the ground started to shake.

Fire started shooting over to where we were, everyone started running . There were babies crying, people screaming and children sitting on the ground with no parents. I ran as fast as i could, i dropped to the ground the only thing in sight was black mist i lay there for a little while, the only thing i could hear was people screaming and crying. I sat up but it was still too hard to see. There was someone walking towards me i yelled “Who’s there” but nobody answered .

I got up and went for a walk the aftermath was horrible I felt like my whole city was gone. The trees weren't pretty and green they were black and ugly and burnt. As i kept walking the town started getting quieter and quieter i felt alone like no-one was there. I started feeling sick but that didn't stop me from trying to finding other survivors. I could hear a helicopter one was right above my head. I started waving but they could not see me.

They were flying around in circles the mist slowly went away. I waved again then the helicopters slowly came down. This man asked me “Have you seen anyone else” I answered “No sorry” I got into the helicopter we flew around for a little while. I could see people waving their hands and yelled “stop!” The helicopter lowered to the ground and people got in, there was no-one else that we could find so we flew away tears dropped down the peoples faces in the helicopter as we left.

Mark Lowndes

On Wednesday the 13th of February , We were lucky enough to interview Mark Lowndes. He is famous for his appearance in Australia’s Got Talent. Miss Aireen organised our interview, Which we did online using Google chat. I learnt that Mark Lowndes has been singing for 12 years his mum inspired him to sing. He had also opened for Boys 2 men. He also writes poetry and he said that he wouldn't of auditioned if his son didn't tell him to. He left us with a message which was just “follow your dreams and believe in yourself” I felt lucky to have met him.
